Emerald Mule

A breath of fresh mint and a splash of cucumber give a cool twist to the traditional Moscow Mule, a perfect companion for National Mule Day.

Emerald Mule


  • 2 oz vodka
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 4 cucumber slices
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice


  1. Muddle the mint leaves and cucumber slices in the bottom of a copper mug or a highball glass.
  2. Add vodka and lime juice to the mug.
  3. Fill the mug with ice and top off with ginger beer.
  4. Stir gently and garnish with a mint sprig and a cucumber slice. Serve immediately.
