April Fool’s Frothy Folly


  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Grated dark chocolate for garnish


  1. Pour gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white into a cocktail shaker without ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  3. Add ice into the shaker and shake again until well-chilled.
  4. Strain the cocktail into a glass and garnish with a sprinkle of grated dark chocolate.
