Ingredients
- 1 part vodka
- 2 parts champagne
- 1 sugar cube
- 2 dashes of bitters
- Lemon peel for garnish
Steps
- Place the sugar cube in a champagne flute. Add the bitters.
- Pour in vodka. Gently mix.
- Top up with champagne. Be careful not to let it foam over.
- Twist lemon peel over the drink to release the oils, and then drop it in as garnish. Serve immediately and toast to a bright year ahead.
