Ingredients

• 2 oz tequila
• 1 oz fresh lime juice
• 1 oz Triple Sec
• 1/2 oz agave syrup
• Salt for rim (optional)
• Lime slice for garnish

Steps

1. First, salt the rim of your glass (if desired) by running a lime wedge along the edge and dipping it in a plate of coarse salt.
2. Next, in a shaker filled with ice, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, Triple Sec, and agave syrup.
3. Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
4. Strain the margarita into the prepared glass.
5. Garnish with a lime slice and serve immediately.
